About the Open Call

Travel can inspire artists by exposing creators to new landscapes, cultures, and perspectives. From photography, plein air painting, or sketching, artists capture their surroundings to transport the viewer to far off places. For this online group exhibition, artists are invited to submit any artwork that explores the travels of the world. This is a non-juried online group exhibition presented by Part Crowd Art Gallery, running from October 1 to October 31, 2025. We accept artwork in any medium, from any year, and any size you are willing to ship to a potential buyer. Based in TORONTO, Canada, Part Crowd Art Gallery is ONLINE ONLY, so no need to ship your work(s) to us. For 2D works, crop the picture to be of the ARTWORK ONLY, without any background elements like frames, mattes, easels, or walls. For 3D works, ensure the artwork is very well-lit, cropped to be in the center, and against an ALL WHITE BACKGROUND. We strongly recommend the use of a photo editing app to achieve a professional aesthetic.

For 2D works, crop the picture to be of the ARTWORK ONLY, no background. For 3D works, ensure the artwork is well-lit, centered, and against an ALL WHITE BACKGROUND. Use photo editing apps for professional aesthetic.

How to Apply

Artists can submit 2 separate pieces/images via the online form. The application requires artist details (name, email, country, website, Instagram, bio/statement), and artwork details for up to two pieces (title, price, art form, dimensions, and image upload). Image formatting instructions are provided (2D works: artwork only, no background; 3D works: well-lit, centered, white background). A $20 USD submission fee is required.
