About the Open Call

THIS IS NOT A DRILL is a 7-day workshop focused on discovering the artistic potential of Split's public space. Participants will explore collective memory, public and unconventional spaces, and artistic action as a way to connect and imagine in uncertain times. The process involves urban explorations, conversations, performative incursions, and collective imagination, culminating in a public presentation during the Split Calling festival. The workshop is open to artists and practitioners from various disciplines interested in site-specific work and participatory processes.

What is Offered

The organizers cover the costs of the participation fee, accommodation, and lunch for the duration of the workshop. Selected participants will also receive a travel allowance of up to 100 EUR.

Requirements

The workshop is open to artists, enthusiasts, and practitioners from different disciplines with a willingness to work collectively and a desire to experiment beyond familiar formats.
