About the Open Call
The #AUEU25 Through Our Lens Photography Competition celebrates 25 years of the AU-EU partnership, inviting photographers to document visual stories reflecting the partnership’s tangible impact across continents, from sustainable economic development to educational exchanges, technological innovation, climate action, and energy transition. The competition offers international exposure with 25 finalists featured in exhibitions in Addis Ababa (and possibly Brussels) and included in a special digital publication. Grand prizes include a €500 financial award, a fully funded trip to Addis Ababa for the award ceremony, a speaking opportunity at the exhibition event, and networking with key AU and EU stakeholders.
