About the Open Call

OPEN SITE 11 is an open call program for creative projects held at TOKAS Hongo. The program seeks projects that explore new expression, art, and culture reflecting contemporaneous sociality across three categories: Exhibition (long-term), Performance (3-day execution), and dot (short-term exhibitions, screenings, workshops, or lectures). Selected projects receive venue use for free, production subsidies, installation support, and transportation assistance.

What is Offered

Production support subsidy (Exhibition: 400,000 JPY; Performance: 200,000 JPY; dot: 100,000 JPY), free venue use, installation/transportation support, performance fee (ticket sales), and potential accommodation at TOKAS Residency for distant/international residents.

Requirements

Applicants must take full responsibility for planning, preparation, and execution. Shortlisted candidates must attend an interview (online options available for distant residents). TOKAS Residency accommodation is only available for Exhibition/Performance categories for participants living far from Tokyo.
