About the Open Call
TEAR is a studio-based programme led by Tracey Emin and Director Elissa Cray. It operates at a level comparable to a Master’s programme, focusing on physical painting, group critiques, and set projects for a cohort of up to 9 artists. Participants must not be represented by a gallery.
What is Offered
15-month studio residency, group critiques, and a 3-month final exhibition.
Requirements
Applicants must be 21+, focus on physical painting, and must not be represented by any gallery. Must have finished prior studies before April 2027.
