About the Open Call
This grant is designed for Arab students or professionals seeking professional contact or experience in the Netherlands and vice versa for Dutch students and professionals seeking experience in the Arab World. The goal is to develop a better understanding of the history, culture, politics, and people of the specific country and to collaborate with local stakeholders. The program requires a preparation phase, a trip, and a follow-up phase to share information and raise awareness.
What is Offered
A grant covering travel expenses up to a maximum amount of 2,000€.
Requirements
Candidates must be nationals of either the Netherlands or specific Arab countries (Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, or Yemen). Applicants must demonstrate academic or professional motivation in education, science, or culture. Applications must be submitted 3 months before travel; no retroactive support is provided.
