About the Open Call
TrenAir invites international artists to spend one month in Trenčín for artistic creation, research, and exchange. The residency is linked to a public outcome such as a workshop, presentation, or exhibition. Four fully equipped studios are available for artists in fields including visual arts, architecture, urbanism, place-making, literature, music, film, and video. Residencies take place in September, October, and November 2026.
What is Offered
Stipend of 1,300 EUR to cover per diems, material expenses, and travel costs. Accommodation provided in the TrenAir Residency House.
Requirements
Open to professional artists with permanent residence outside the Slovak Republic. Participation is limited to residents of European Union member states.
