About the Open Call

The Two Together: Porthmeor Studios Residencies 2027 offer the opportunity for three pairs of visual artists to undertake a shared, month-long residency. One artist in each pair must be based in Devon or Cornwall. The opportunity includes studio space, shared accommodation, travel support, and a £2,000 stipend per artist. Residents are encouraged to document their process-led experimentation without the pressure of producing final works.

Use of Studio 5 at Porthmeor Studios, shared accommodation, travel expenses, and a £2,000 stipend per artist.

Requirements

Artists must be UK-based with a studio-based visual arts practice and at least 5 years of professional experience post-graduation. One artist per pair must be based in Devon or Cornwall. Applicants cannot be currently enrolled in formal education, nor in an existing professional or personal partnership with their collaborator.
