Organized by Associazione Forte di Bard with technical support from Alina Art Foundation, this competition seeks works that tell the story of the fragility, beauty, and urgency of the alpine pastoral world. Categories include traditional drawing (pencil, watercolor, etc.), digital graphics (raster, vector, motion graphics, video art), and traditional graphic arts (etching, woodcut, lithography). The 2026 theme aligns with the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists.
Requirements
Works must explore themes such as the history of transhumance, contemporary challenges of shepherds, ecological roles of pastures, and personal stories of mountain communities. Participants must choose between Categoria A (Open) or Categoria B (Students).
