About the Open Call

The exhibition 'Unexpurgated: Freedom in Form and Color' will be held at the Limner Gallery from March 5 – 28, 2026, and displayed on the gallery website, promoted on social media. It is open to all national and international artists aged 18 or older, working in all media including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, graphics, digital, installation art, and video. Wall-mounted works must be no taller than 72" and no wider than 120", while sculptural work must fit through a 36" wide entry door. Artwork may be exhibited for sale, with the gallery taking a 35% commission on sales. Artists retain all copyrights.

What is Offered

Selected artists will be featured in a group exhibition at the Limner Gallery from March 5 - 28, 2026. The exhibition will also be displayed on the Limner Gallery web site and promoted on social media. Artwork in the show may be exhibited for sale, with the gallery taking a 35 percent commission on all sales.

Requirements

Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Wall mounted works must not be taller than 72" and no wider than 120". Sculptural work must fit through a 36" wide entry door. All entries are via email with individual JPG/JPEG image files attached (not larger than 2500 pixels on the longest side) or linked from a personal/Google images web page. Video entries require a link to the video on an online viewing platform (Vimeo, YouTube, etc.). If selected to exhibit, video artists must supply display equipment or post the video on YouTube.

How to Apply

Entries must be submitted via email by 12:00 midnight on November 8, 2025. All entries are via email with individual images attached (do not submit ZIP files). Attached image files must be in JPG (or JPEG) format, not larger than 2500 pixels on the longest side. Images can also be provided via a link to a personal web page or Google images page. Video artists may apply by providing a link to their video on Vimeo, YouTube, or any online video viewing platform. Payment must be made at the time of entry using Debit or Credit Card, PayPal, Venmo, or Apple Pay. Artists unable to pay by card may mail a check or money order payable to SlowArt Productions.
