Creative Scotland
Urban Coincidence is a city-wide photography campaign in Glasgow that intervenes in public space by replacing commercial advertising posters with artistic imagery. The project seeks photos that depict the beauty, mundanity, and reality of daily life. Up to 20 images will be selected for a 2-week display period. Each poster will include a QR code pointing to a digital map of the installations. Participants may submit up to 3 images with descriptions, locations, and stories. The project is supported by Creative Scotland.
Selected works will be professionally printed and displayed on advertising posters throughout Glasgow for 2 weeks. The project provides digital mapping of selected works.
Submit up to 3 photos with brief written descriptions, location, and the story behind the capture. High-resolution files will be requested after selection.
Submit application via the online Tally form including name, email, and up to 3 photos with associated details (title, medium, location, description). Technical issues or direct material submissions should be directed to the provided email address.
