KODA
KODA offers a Fall 2026 residency spanning from August 1 to October 31, 2026. The program is focused on the theme of Utopia and is designed for artists ingrained in social justice. The residency provides studio space on Governors Island, curatorial consultancy, and professional development opportunities.
$1,000 honorarium, studio space on Governors Island, optional exhibition, $250 public engagement honorarium, $200 professional development credit, and studio visits with art world professionals.
Must be female-identifying or non-binary, aged 30 or older, with at least 10 years of professional experience and 2 solo exhibitions (mid-career). Must commit 20 hours per month to the residency and attend monthly meetings. Students are not eligible.
Proposals will be accepted between March 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET and March 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET through the KODA website.
