About the Open Call

Villa Barr Art Park offers three residency sections annually (Spring, Summer, Fall) for one Visiting Artist and one Local Artist per section. Residents receive a $500 materials stipend; visiting artists receive an additional $500 travel stipend. The residency includes access to private and shared studios, wood and metal-working tools, and architect-designed housing for visiting artists. Strong proposals should include a public engagement component such as workshops, exhibitions, or installations relevant to the site.
