About the Open Call
The 2026 special edition of the Voyage in Time Film Festival takes place in Tokyo, Japan. The festival invites filmmakers from around the world to present films that move beyond conventional storytelling—works that observe, drift, reflect, and unfold through image, rhythm, and presence. We welcome all genres and forms: narrative, experimental, documentary, hybrid, and works that exist between definitions.
What is Offered
Official selection and presentation at the festival with curatorial focus, artistic dialogue, and exposure.
Requirements
Films must be submitted in DCP format if selected. All films with dialogue must include English subtitles. Submitters must hold all necessary copyrights and third-party rights.
