About the Open Call

The 18th Werkstattwoche Lüben is an international artist residency focusing on the intersection of artistic practice, personal exchange, and communal living. From July 1 to July 12, 2027, 20 artists will live and work in the village of Lüben, culminating in a joint exhibition. The program includes art talks, lectures, and various collaborative activities. English language skills are required. Participation is mandatory for the duration of the residency.

What is Offered

Accommodation provided by local residents free of charge, free meals in the 'Lübener Tenne' (coffee, tea, water included). A travel grant may be available upon request.

Requirements

Applicants must be available for the full duration of the residency (residency obligation). English proficiency is required. Artists must bring their own specialized working materials as there are no local suppliers.
