WHIMSY – A Watercolor Show is MettaGallery’s 17th juried art competition focusing on watercolor painting or mixed-media containing watercolor. Artists are encouraged to submit their unique and creative interpretations of the 'Whimsy' theme. This is an online-only show, meaning no shipping of physical artwork is required. Artists retain 100% of sales and handle all transactions directly, as MettaGallery takes no commission. Cash awards include $100 for Best of Show, $75 for First Place, $50 for Second Place, and $25 for Third Place. The show will be judged by Carolyn Hartling, a renowned watercolor artist and instructor. Participating in this online show enhances an artist's online presence, offers optimized placement in search engines, and connects their work with potential buyers and fans worldwide for at least one year.
