About the Open Call

Works on Paper 2026 is the 28th Annual National Juried Competition at the LBIF. Works accepted include drawing, painting on paper, hand-pulled prints, photography, digitally created artwork displayed as prints, and wall-hung paper constructions. 65 artworks will be selected by curator Joanna Sheers Seidenstein for the exhibition. Artists must be 18+ and reside in the continental USA.

What is Offered

Selected works will be exhibited at the LBIF gallery and featured in a printed exhibition catalog. Cash prizes include $1,000 first prize, $250 second prize, $100 third prize, and three honorable mentions.

Requirements

Artists 18+ residing in the continental USA. Work must be created within the last two years, not previously shown at LBIF, and suitably framed with professional presentation. Must not exceed 10lbs or 60x60 inches. All works must be for sale.
