About the Open Call

BETA PUBLICA is a continuous meeting point to create, provoke, connect, discover, experiment, share and support contemporary dance. The XIII Edition is not a competition; it is an integrated support project for choreographic creation where selected choreographers present their work. The event aims to foster reflection and bring audiences, choreographers, dancers, and programmers closer to the creative process.

What is Offered

Selected works will be presented at the C.C. Paco Rabal in Madrid on September 5, 2026. No prize money is offered.

Requirements

Proposals are selected based on creative solidity, originality, and the maturity of the choreographic work. World and/or Spanish premieres are valued. Proposals must adjust to artistic criteria and be approved by the Selection Team.
