About the Open Call
The annual Yeck Young Artist Competition at the Miami University Art Museum invites high school students to submit their artwork for an opportunity to be featured in an exhibition and receive awards. Specific requirements regarding medium and eligibility are determined on an annual basis.
What is Offered
$10,000 William and Dorothy Yeck Purchase Award, $2,500 second place, $2,000 third place, and exhibition January–March 2027.
Requirements
Young painters, U.S. residents, ages 25–35 as of competition entry, who have achieved a significant degree of success as emerging artists. Submitted paintings must be completed within the past three years, no dimension over 72 inches, and available for exhibition and purchase.
