Young Europe V: Artist in Residence

About the Open Call

The Young Europe V Artist in Residence Programme offers placements at two ETC Member Theatres: Cyprus Theatre Organisation (Nicosia, Cyprus) and Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe (Karlsruhe, Germany). Selected professionals will join creative and educational teams, gaining insights into new working methods and theater structures in different countries. Includes travel grants, accommodation, and per diems. This is a scholarship-based program, not employment.

What is Offered

Residency in one of the participating theatres, travel grant up to €400, accommodation, and financial contribution to local expenses.

Requirements

Targeted at freelance and emerging theatre professionals. Requires English proficiency and specific language/skill sets based on the chosen residency location (e.g., Greek for Cyprus, theatre education/pedagogy experience for both).
